Asia Forum for Investor Education (AFIE)

Organization
General Meeting		A General Meeting of the membership of the AFIE is convened annually, preferably, if possible, in the first half of the calendar year.


Advisory Committee		The Advisory Committee consists of the Chairman, four AFIE members, and one Advisory Committee representative of the International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE). The current members are IFIE, Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA), Japan Securities Dealers Association, Taiwan Securities Association, Association of National Exchanges Members of India, and Association of Capital Market Intermediary Institutions of Turkey.


Chairman		The AFIE is currently chaired by Mr. Rakesh Somani, President of the Association of National Exchanges Members of India (ANMI).


Secretariat		The Secretariat executes business activities of the AFIE. KOFIA serves as the Secretariat of the AFIE.
